Here are five things you might want to consider in choosing your best bread maker.

 - Noise:

 Some bread machine are more noisy than the others. If you bake the bread in the morning and does not want to wake everyone up, you can consider buying a silent bread maker. 

- How many serve?

 Depending on how many people you want to serve, you have to choose a bread machine that can bake just the right loaf for you. A 1-pound loaf is about 8 slices, 1.5 pound loaf is about 12 slices, and 2 pound loaf is about 16 slices. Get a bread machine that has at least two choices.

 - Horizontal or Vertical?

 If the appearance of the loaf is important to you, you might want to buy a bread machine that produces horizontal loaves. Horizontal loaf looks like those bread you bought from stores and bakeries. Otherwise, there is no really difference between vertical and horizontal loaves in terms of the taste. 

- Pause:

 Sometimes before the loaf is fully proofed, the machine will automatically starts baking. Some bread maker will allow you to pause within the process, providing you with extra flexibility.

 - Fruit and Nut:

 Some machines allows you to put the fruit and nut in a dispenser, that will be automatically added in the process later. If you are going to make a lots of fruit and nut bread, you might want to consider this feature.
